Objectives of the program:
Caps Writing:
By the end of this level students will be able to:
1.Compose simple, compound, complex, compound-complex sentences
2.Identify different sentence problems and correct them
3.Use different punctuation marks
4.Brainstorm, organize and filter their ideas before writing
5.Write emails, memos, letters, meeting minutes.
Academic Writing:
By the end of this level students will be able to:
1.Compose simple, compound, complex, compound-complex sentences.
2.Identify different sentence problems and correct them.
3.Compose better grammatical sentences that help them write better essays.
4.Use different punctuation marks.
5.Brainstorm, organize and filter their ideas before writing.
6.Identify topic development within a paragraph.
7. Identify the different parts of an essay.
8.Construct essay outlines.
9.Generate effective introductions/conclusions.
10.Write different types of essays: expository, narrative, compare-contrast, cause and effect, and argumentative.
11.Write proposals and formal reports.
– Duration: a month, 2 days per week.
– Cost: 1200 L.E + 50 L.E “placement test fees”.
Requirements:
Capsules Placement test (written-Oral) level 4.
